Strength in Numbers - Boston Marathon
Thinking of everyone running the 127th Boston Marathon today. Being a Boston University grad, I have so many fond memories enjoying the marathon each year while in college and my years after in Boston.
Red Sox legend David Ortiz, or Big Papi, is the grand marshal of the Boston Marathon today. As a fan of the Red Sox and Pap,i it's a poignant choice for this year’s race, which comes 10 years after the bombings at the finish line. The attack on April 15, 2013 rocked the city – and country. Days after, Ortiz united the community with words of strength and defiance at Fenway Park.
Over the years I've designed special philoSophie's for marathon runners and had the opportunity to share my work at The Hyatt Boston on Marathon Monday. This year I was unable to make the trip.
I did completd the tool to design your own philoSophie's runner in real time to help celebrate those crossing this year's finish line.
